Handcrafting in the art room of our school
On March the 10th 2022, our Art teacher explained to our partners what the cross- shaped figurines are. She informed them that such prehistoric sculptures were found in Cyprus during the 30th century BC. She asked all the participating students, including our partners, to copy a sculpture representing a woman with her arms spread probably used as a fertility symbol.
Everyone enjoyed the experience and learned from it!!
